PENN CONTACTED US ASKING FOR HELP.. TOLD US OF THEIR CONCERN WITH AVET
OFFERING REELS IN MANY COLORS. ASKED US IF WE WOULD ANODIZE REELS FOR THEM ,
THEY COULDN'T BE BOTHERED WITH ANODIZING IN DIFFERENT COLORS. THEY WOULD
SEND IT THROUGH US.
WE WERE HONORED!!
MY OLD FRIEND "PETE YASKOWSKI" , THE CHIEF DESIGN ENGINEER FOR MANY YEARS FOR
PENN SENT US THE UN-ANODIZED SAMPLES BELOW .
WE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB FOR THEM AND COULDN'T WAIT TO HEAR FROM PETE, NEVER
DID..
CALLED 08/09 TO ASK , WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH OUR PROJECT?
PETE TOLD US-- PENN WAS CREATING THE " PENN CUSTOM SHOP" WITHOUT US.
NOW A FEW WEEKS LATER I AM NOT UPSET ANYMORE. I WISH THEM WELL.

Hello Tom. In August I take delivery of my new 80ft tournament sportfish . I've spent the last several
months doing the tackle outfitting. I've acquired .....(10) Accurate 50w reels---(12) Accurate 80w reels ---
and (12) Accurate 130w reels. I would like all of these engraved (gold lettering),and anodized a deep
navy blue (handles as well) .Please email me a "rough" estimate and delivery timetable at your earliest
convenience. PS ---- I'm very sorry for what Penn did to you.... Theres a MANY reason most SERIOUS
fisherman prefer Shimano Tiagras! For what its worth, in the big game/tournament circles,we know who
"THE MAN' is when it comes to reel engraving and anodizing,and we will have your back and give you our
business till the oceans are cleaned out and we don't need pretty reels anymore! Hope to hear from you
soon.
